Absolutely! The movie's plot was actually pretty dark at its core but all of that was completely drowned out by the obsession to have a joke in just about every scene.
It was very entertaining while watching it, no doubt about that, but I got this slight feeling of wasted potential afterwards.
I also thought it was weird how quickly the Warrior Three were killed off without them being mentioned again.

Thor had the occasional "woe is me, everyone is dying" moment but it kind of felt tacked on as an afterthought in a lot of cases, almost as if someone went "oh damn, right, we still had a plot beneath all these jokes, maybe we should make a reference to that once in a while". It wasn't all bad and I had a lot of fun, but still, a bit less of the obvious jokes and a bit more of the dark undertones bleeding through could have been so great.

I think Loki was sorely underutilised as well - he didnt do much aside from being manhandled and being the butt of the joke most of the times. Doing this is alright but it got a bit one-note after a while.
