Whole lotta Stranger Things going on today!

Yeah, I admit I've never watched the show. I'm not really into horror/adventure and I just can't be bothered.

I'm stuck like halfway through s2. It just feels like 40% of the show at this point is boring stuff that gets in the way of stuff I want to watch.

I tried but fizzled out before finishing s1ep3. I can see many of the reasons people love it but it just doesn't tick the right boxes for me.

S1E3 is where I stopped when I tried watching it for the first time. I'm currently trying to continue as a favour for a friend who really wants to talk about it to more people but I can't really get into it. Which is weird because I like mystery, horror and the 80s vibe.

NAYRT - Personally, I found the first 3 episodes to be a bit of a slog and only kept watching because I was watching with friends. But I think it picks up after that. (If nothing else, they've finally finished with most of the backstory and exposition, so the pacing gets a lot better.)

Yeah, I think I just really need the time to pick a day to just bingewatch it.

It's not for everyone. I honestly found season 1 hugely overrated (I basically thought it was okay but didn't understand why it got so popular) but I liked season 2 better and am more invested now. It still has it's flaws though.

I get that. I liked the whole early Stephen King vibe, but season one was a bit slow and IMO more style than substance. Season 2 was better, but there's lots of room for improvement.

I really like the visuals and the acting but I'm starting to feel like the writing and plotting is... not everything it could be
