It might have *gasp* HARMFUL MESSAGES! And then you'd have to actually TEACH a kid that these things aren't real and aren't always okay! Why do that when you can sanitize everything and make sure the only entertainment that's allowed is being preached to all the time?

Yes. You've figured me out. I refuse to let my children watch movies I consider sexist because I don't want to actually teach them anything. And I'd have gotten away with it, too if it weren't for you pesky anonymous commenters!

Oh goodie. The ad hominem attacks portion of the argument. Well, seeing as you're anonymous, I'll have to skip the rational, reasoned parts of my usual reply and go for the big finish:

My children don't watch Disney. I'm not sure why this bothers you. I don't care. Have your own children and watch Disney all day, every day with them. Enjoy it, revel in it, do a Disney song and dance based on your movie watching. I will still have a Disney-free house.
