The only moral objection that I have is if it harms the ability of the original creator to profit off their work. Which might or might not be something that falls under the category of "the law". So depending on how you define it, maybe or maybe not.

That's how I feel about it too. It's not money that was going to go to the creator anyway-- what, is someone going to buy a book/movie/game a second time just because they like it that much?
