Once again people seem to act like being a fan of the show is some horrible thing that means you have deep issues instead of attacking other qualities that might come with it but are more on the nose.

It's a cute, fun show. I see no reason why its bad to have a fandom around this rather than other things. People just act like there's something weird and untouchable about it.

I was always under the impression that Bronies were a self-described group within MLP fandom, who tended to be a bit pushy and engaged in a fair bit of performative masculinity to demonstrate that they're not like those yucky female or teen fans.
