"Africa" is a shit song, and so is every song in Tarzan. And "Bohemian Rhapsody" is the most obnoxious, annoying, longest song I've ever had to listen to.

I mean, AYRT is somewhat right. At just over 6 minutes, it's long, but it's not INSANELY long. However, they're being a douche about it unnecessarily, so I give your response a thumbs up. Also, it really does feel interminable when people karaoke it - which is to say, at least once a night at any karaoke joint that's popular among white people.

I love that song, but I love Weird Al's Jurassic Park so much more. ♥

I really appreciate Priscilla Queen of the Desert the musical for bringing this song (among other greats) to new generations.

And I agree that it's not that long. It's still basically a radio-playable song. Progressive rock and trance can get a lot longer. It is hard to get sillier than "Bohemian Rhapsody" though.

Maybe it just felt like it was an hour long because it was so shitty to listen to it?

And I have had to listen to it because my Mom and sister play it in the car and sing along. I know all the words to it because they play it a lot.

I would be tempted to try to get back at them with other ridiculous songs. How do you feel about Styx's "Come Sail Away"? But I doubt that tactic would work.
