I don't wear makeup (never have) and honestly I agree with you. I've never felt any sort of pressure to wear it beyond the occasional comment that it would probably look good on me, and I certainly haven't had any shortage of guys hitting on me despite my lack of makeup.

I think it depends on where a person lives and works, to some extent.

I haven't had pressure to wear it myself, but I know other women who say it's expected where they work.
