I love makeup. I mean, I just spent a stupid amount of money at the Sephora sale and I'm not even ashamed, I fricken LOVE makeup.

But I do think there's unfair pressure on women to wear makeup. Whether it's workplace expectations, or semi-formal occasion expectations, or just the simple fact that you'll almost never see a woman in an ad or magazine or show or movie without obvious signs that she's wearing makeup. The societal message is clear: unless you look like this naturally (which you don't) you would do best to seek the help of makeup.
