because of the power of luuuuuuuuv or someshit. I mean they already had that in the first movie, where Ash got turned to stone and was revived by Pokemon tears. I guess that's just how things work there?
These are kids' films, after all. I ate that stuff up when I was 10.

there was some bullshit in the beginning of the first movie about a storm flooding the entire world and pokemon tears saving everything. this movie didn’t even have precedent.
