Cockroaches are actually useful. They put nitrogen back into the soil which is needed by plants.

There are many insects that do that, though, along with other animals.

Yeah, but plenty of things do that and I'm guessing in much more significant amounts than cockroaches. You can add compost, for example. Farms grow crops like alfafa or clover that add nitrogen to soil, are effective for weed control AND you can feed livestock with it, too.

The giant hissing roaches are kind of cool. Kind of sad that they're getting axed while paralysis ticks are living it up.
