I feel like I'm the only one fine with Loki's currently place in the mcu

Like it would make less sense if he was a comedic character and karma houdini for earth scenes (don't fuck up infinity war), but Asgard's a different culture. So I'm fine with it. Especially since they established Loki's apparently been doing his bullshit since he was a kid.

I'm fine with it, but I don't have any strong feelings about Loki anyway.

I wish he was a bit more competent, just because it would make it more credible that the rest of Asgard hasn't just stuffed him in his locker and left him there yet.

Yeah. And I have to say I really enjoyed Thor's resigned "That's the way you want it," tone in the elevator. It's a realistic depiction of siblings who just...well, don't get along, but still have some affection for each other.

I've enjoyed all things Loki has been in this universe and I agree.

Only thing I wish is that his magic wasn't so crap but other than that I'm fine with where he is right now.

I only actually like Loki as slapstick comic relief, so I’m cool with it. The combo of “on your knees and cower before me, brief mortals,” and “you never loved me and besides you’re not my real dad” gave me two reasons to dislike him, only his sense of humor and also being the butt of jokes makes him watchable to me.

THIS!

I finally found him delightful in Ragnarok, instead of whiny and annoying. Even his glee at a certain gladiator scene.

Oh, I adored him when he sees who Thor's opponent was.

Helps that Hiddleston is a pretty good actor.

Given everything that Loki's done in the last few movies he's been in I'm fine with him being the butt of the jokes for once.

(Anonymous) 2017-11-15 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
I'm good with Loki where he is now. It's more in line with myth!Loki & it's a nice break from the angstfest of his previous movies.

I haven't seen Ragnarok yet. Did he give birth to an 8-legged foal?

(Anonymous) 2017-11-15 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Now, *that's* a stinger worth sticking around for.

(Anonymous) 2017-11-15 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
Idk, I wouldn't really say it's more in line with mythology.

(Anonymous) 2017-11-15 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
I liked it.
