I only actually like Loki as slapstick comic relief, so I’m cool with it. The combo of “on your knees and cower before me, brief mortals,” and “you never loved me and besides you’re not my real dad” gave me two reasons to dislike him, only his sense of humor and also being the butt of jokes makes him watchable to me.

I finally found him delightful in Ragnarok, instead of whiny and annoying. Even his glee at a certain gladiator scene.
