I did love it though, the two episodes I saw.
And dude, being dead never stopped anyone from shipping anything.
I've just noticed that SyFy shows tend to have no to very little fandom presence?

Honestly, I think that has to do with all the silly movies SyFy has made over the years. I mean, would you be inspired to be in a fandom from a channel that made a film called Sharktopus or Piranhaconda? Or regularly casts Lance Hendrickson (who I actually low key like, lol)? I kind of think the problem is that Syfy has painted itself one way for so long that now that they're branching out and trying to make good shows (Blood Drive and Ghost Wars, for example), people are overlooking them because, 'lol, Syfy has another silly thing they made, I'll pass.' They kind of sterotyped themselves so the fandom for the decent shows are small to none. =/

Oooh, what's Blood Drive? Sounds fun and vampire-ey.
But yeah, it's weird, when it was Space it seemed like the shows were a little less... camp? But I do enjoy a lot of their cheesy stuff too.

Oh, Blood Drive, is sadly only one season but it was amazing. It even had it's own canon based commercials that aired with it on Syfy! And basically, it's about a car race with cars that are fueled by blood. Also, everything in the US is pretty screwed up - I'm talking things like cannibals and a town with a gas leak so bad everyone is basically a mutant but they can't see it, among many, many other things. =D Def recommend if you don't might gore.

(Anonymous) 2017-11-15 12:55 pm (UTC)(link)that sounds like a really crazy show. I agree with you, if another network came up with it, it would have not gotten cancelled so soon (general Syfy shows).
I'm about to start watching the one about the psychologist and child murders.
Bonus, I've noted that a lot of the new Syfy shows have more PoC, not all shows, but as I saw clips, I did see more than I'm used to for sci-fi shows in general. I guess. But a positive development nonetheless!

But I agree, he's a great actor. And I missed that episode of Hannibal with him in it! =O
