tbh, I don't know how acceptable it is to be open about fanfiction outside of fandom circles. I'll admit to watching anime and playing video games, and even going to cons, but writing fanfiction is one of those things, still... I know I'm probably not going to get in any trouble for writing it, but if you're not taking part as a reader or writer, it's just weird.

I'll admit to some mild obsessions, but I would never go on and on about how X series is my life or that I used to have some weird ass fantasies about Y celeb for years and years.
