I am an artist myself who doesn't do anime, but I hate people who fucking judge styles.

Lol butthurt much, anon? Are you honestly saying I can only judge art when I can make it myself? LAWL I suppose I need to be a fucking pastry chef before I can say I prefer chocolate cake over chocolate mousse, amirite?

I'm not saying anime art doesn't have awesome fucking art. I'm just saying that it's harder to get recognised in realistic art because there's a lot more of artists focusing on that than anime, thus the ones who get recognised tend to be of a higher standard than the ones of anime art, where you can get popular just by drawing popular series.
