At first I got drawn to her because of some points of similarities with Orihime from Bleach (flaky cheerful adorable busty compulsive eater), but then I got to take in all of her backstory and such and THAT'S what ultimately did me in.

"Broccoli or Cauliflower?" is enough to hate her. Heck her whole plan was enough to hate her. I sympathize with the whole back story in Matsuribayashi-hen and understand her motivation, but I feel it didn't excuse her for what she did to Hinamizawa, especially the end of Minagoroshi-hen (and I'm not mentioning the True End of the series, the series went to the Good End that the creator preferred). I'm suprised there's people who genuinely like her.

Look for the comics online. They're pretty different from the show though, I have to warn you. And I've heard things about the later chapters that'll probably squick a fan of the show.
