133.) Creation is a slow process, with lots of revising, and tinkering. Don't give up. I have many original stories and characters that I am working on. My friends really like them. I hope to polish them enough to share them with the rest of the world. :) I still don't think they are perfect in anyway, there are parts that didn't quite turn out the way I wanted. There are things still need revising. Creation is a long process. You just have to keep going.

147. I fangirl Fran so hard it's kinda embarassing. She's the first female in the franchise that I completely adore, which is neat, considering the last one I didn't absolutely hate was probably Rydia or Faris.

148. When Wolfwood died I cried so hard over it I had a headache for the next three days. We're talking complete blubbery snot-nosed bawling. It's kinda embarassing to remember, actually. And Spike's death was ... well that was a whole different kind of depressing. I also refuse to believe Spike's dead, but I'm a weenie like that.

Really? I can dig Ariel's dreams and adventureousness, but... I can't get past the fact that she was married at 16. She... Besides her age, she is just so youthful, it seems a total waste to marry her off. She's got so much energy; I want her to go explore the world first.

Growing up, I adored the film, but never really put her on a pedestal. I had a doll of her, and the most interesting thing about it was her removable shell-top. :3

101: Well, the manga-influenced style is extremely popular, so it's probably just a matter of meeting the taste of more people.

120: Touhou! I've only played one of the games, but it kept me fascinated for way too many hours. XD I never joined the fandom, though...

141: Hm, I tend to not care about actors of the characters in shows I like either. Though I'm not really in any western media fandoms at the moment.

147: I mostly agree (I've been very fond of a couple of other female FF characters earlier, Freya from FF9 among them), Fran is awesome. Despite her outfit it didn't feel as if she was objectified at all; the other characters treated her with respect (and almost a little fear), and she was just as strong and capable as any other character. She was the aloof warrior, and for once it felt like gender really wasn't an issue.

Plus, even her English voice actor was good, and that was a nice surprise.

101. Unfortunately, if you're posting on dA that will usually be the case. I started out drawing realism, then got into certain fandoms and tried manga style because it seemed to be the 'It' thing to and then realized it just wasn't for me because I really could never master it and everything looked too realistic or Western and started digitally painting. Of course, my pageviews and whatnot dropped initially despite the fact that my art was drastically improved and I was putting much more of my heart into each piece. You should draw how you want to draw regardless of whether it gets you attention or not. If you draw to please someone else's standards and tastes you'll never be satisfied with your work.

106. As would I ... though, preferably with more flesh. Imhotep was hot. I remember my friend and I rewatching a scene with him because you saw a really nice shot of his ass.

I love the show and Sam & Dean. I even enjoy RPS fic with Jared & Jensen, but it's almost exclusively AU fic when it comes to J-squared. I don't think I know much about their real lives beyond that they're from Texas and info I can gather from scanning my flist. Getting beyond that really unnerves me, for some reason.

I'm reluctant to agree or disagree, since I don't know which particular fanfics you're alluding to, and what different people think is IC for Sylar seems to be insanely variable (I'm happy as long as he's a narcissistic killer with mommy issues, but according to some people anything gentler than a sociopathic rapist is woobiefied)

I know there are grey areas with Sylar (and every other character under the sun) and that's awesome! I'm talking about pointless AUs where Sylar is the lead singer in a rock band and has no issues, no characterization, no connection to the canon character other than the HOT, fics where Peter/Mohinder and Sylar buy a kitten together and snuggle and every other fic by aussievamp.

This is all done badly. Like Sylar had a, heh, lobotomy or total personality transplant. I would not have an issue with Mohinder and Sylar argue playfully about whether to name their new dog fluffy or snookums and then making dinner and flirting if there was some sort of reason for it! Like, Matt went evil and decided to mind control both of them into playing out such a scene because he has a kink for scenes of domestic bliss after his unhappy childhood/marriage.

But the people writing this stuff do not like Sylar's characterization they just think ZQ is hot and so they ignore it.
