Really? I can dig Ariel's dreams and adventureousness, but... I can't get past the fact that she was married at 16. She... Besides her age, she is just so youthful, it seems a total waste to marry her off. She's got so much energy; I want her to go explore the world first.

Growing up, I adored the film, but never really put her on a pedestal. I had a doll of her, and the most interesting thing about it was her removable shell-top. :3

Ah, no, not all that part, of course. I always dismissed the 'married in teenage years' parts of Disney movies, 'cause that was just illogical to me, even as a child. Even though I plan to have several children, I don't even plan on seriously dating for another year or two, let alone get married...I just thought Ariel was a badass. XD
