I tried, as I liked him in Daredevil, but... I guess I can't get behind a comic concept if it's just a broody assasin. If he doesn't have magical blindness or metal claws or a fixation on saving a cheerleader, it's not interesting enough.

Well if it makes you feel better, after watching this season I'm convinced he has some kind of accelerated healing factor. It's the only explanation for how he can take the amount of punishment he gets while still being able to deal it out.
