Just for the record, I don't think OP's secret is actually opposed to any of this. As far as I can tell, OP is just saying that they didn't personally care for it, not advancing a line of reasoning based around "black-and-white 'pure or trash' shit".

nayrt but yep. OP never says Hopper is trash or even implies that they believe int his black vs. white, pure vs. trash nonsense. They said they got that both characters had legitimate reasons for behaving the way they did, but OP still found it unpleasant to watch. Perfectly reasonable.
