Annoyed.

Last night I finally found a few fics for my rarepair from an obscure book fandom and bookmarked them to read when I got home from work tonight. I had a pretty crappy day so after dinner I was looking forward to reading the fics and hopefully cheering myself up. I've now read all three and they're all horribly depressing. In one of them, one half of the pairing dies, in another the other dies, and in the third it ends on a cliffhanger where one of them might die, and the fic appears to be abandoned.

Not cool, fic writers. :(
