He's just okay, nothing particularly notable and especially not the kind of irreplaceable actor whose performance only he could do.

Yeah. Loki-as-played-by-Matt-Damon was totally superior. Only not really.

Funnier: Reading the first Thor's script, realizing how Loki was basically a basic villain, and coming to terms with how much Tom's work enriched the final result.

Even funnier: Loki was supposed to have been scratched out on Thor 2. Reason he wasn't? The producers were impressed with the fans reaction to Hiddleston's work with Loki. "Nothing particularly notable"? Suure.
