Yeah I try to ship and let ship but there's something that really bothers me about people who look at Dorian, whose backstory is that he's a gay man whose father tried to mind control him into being attracted to women, and decide that they're going to mod away the gay so that their f!Inquisitor can bone him. I've seen some people try to justify it by saying that his father didn't care about his sexuality and would have done the same thing if he was attracted to women but resisting arranged marriage for another reason, but that requires deliberately misreading the storyline.

I've been burned too many times by "sudden" homophobia from this kind of shipper to not be somewhat taken aback when I encounter one, but I do try to give them the benefit of the doubt unless it's a Dorian type situation.
