For me, I disliked how much she wasn't Valkyrie. Or even Valkyrie like.

Too short, relied on tech to do most of the fighting, which - while again took her further away from being Valkyrie - turned out to be a good thing because of how slightly built she was the bits where she did real fighting seems ridiculous, like there was no heft behind her moments.

She was such a badass, I would have loved her... if she had been given any name other than a Valkyrie. As is it her parts of the film hand me going "That was cool, but that's not what Valkyrie would have done."

Every time she was onscreen, I just kept thinking how I wished Lady Sif had been able to be in the movie.

You don't like antiheroes? I liked Val on some levels but I can't overlook some of the things she does. It's weird to me when media shows you all these terrible things that a character does, look how shitty they are, but then wants to fully excuse them and treats them instead like full on heroes. Punisher, anyone?
