I feel that Fingon gets overshadowed by his connection to Maedhros. What he did was amazing but there's so much more to him than that and I wish there was more exploration of that, especially if you buy into him being Gil-galad's dad. I would love to see more about his feelings of Turgon disappearing and then showing up at the last minute, etc.

For me, Elrond is the person I would most wish to be like since he's so nice.

I'm still not sure how to feel about this outfit. I like the style/shape of it but the colours are just too drab for my liking. I wanted some funkier colours. :(

Oh, good, it's not just me. The whole concept of this movie really pissed me off, and the fact that it won the Oscar for Best Picture over the far more deserving Saving Private Ryan was the nail in the coffin for the Academy Awards for me.
