Not 'favorite' because uhhh yeah, but I rewatched Interstellar for the second time this year and only just realized that Affleck #2 was the brother all grown up.

I swear every time I watch Band of Brothers I notice new actors. Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy, Colin Hanks, Simon Pegg, Andrew Scott, James McAvoy, and Jimmy Fallon are ones I can remember off the top of my head.

I watched the remake of The Ladykillers, and Greg Grunberg stole his one scene so thoroughly, I thought he was a main character and the scene was introducing him before he got involved in the plot. I was pretty disappointed when I realized the scene was introducing a completely different, much less charismatic main character.

I love a silly thriller movie, Murder by Numbers, and before I knew it Ryan Gosling is now a bonifide actor, if that counts.
