133. My flist is not a place where I go to read about strangers' lives. I will read about your personal life without complaint, but I have to know you and care about your life first. If I think you're a cool person, then I will read about your life. But if you never comment on my LJ, never respond to comments I leave on your LJ, and clearly have a dozen other friends you like much more than me, I will unfriend you eventually. The only thing you're doing on my flist is taking up space that I skim past every day.
It's not that they post about RL instead of fandom, so I hate them. It's that they're strangers who think that I friended them because I was interested in their lives, when the reason I friended them is because we had some things in common on a fandom friending meme. But liking the same ship doesn't make someone a good match for you.
So you unfriend them. It's not the end of the world.
