But what is the point of doing it, if you don't use something that is relevant? It kind of loses its sting that way.

If it were me, I'd say the point would be to send junk mail to the people who sent me junk mail. It's just a little jab. :)

Dunno if that's the same reasoning that the OP uses, though.

Either way, I think it's awesome.

I don't even waste time picking up junk mail. I stand by what I said though, it seems kind of meaningless unless you do it with intent of spoiling somebody. Why go to all that effort?

It's no effort at all, really. I have to open the mail anyway to shred all of the mail back forms with my information printed on them. They wasted my time with junk mail... I might as well waste a bit of theirs.

Well, maybe I am just lazy but it still sounds like you're going out of your way. Why not just recycle it? Or update whatever spoiler you send back to them...
