People whining about free speech when someone criticizes them for racism, sexism, homophobia, or whatever.

Yep. I feel like the people who scream the loudest about "MUH FREE SPEECH" are the ones who have the least understanding of what free speech actually is. It just means that the government can't punish or censor you for speaking out against it, that's all. It doesn't mean that other people can't react negatively to what you say, and it definitely doesn't mean that you can say whatever you want without any consequences.
