This time I've to agree with you, OP. There's no way Kyouya wouldn't support Trump.

Kyoya values classiness and subtlety and propriety. Why TF would he react to Trump with anything but disdain? I mean yeah his life goal is to succeed in his family's business, but I'm pretty sure Trump ain't the kind of role model he'd go for in any field.

Honestly, most of them probably wouldn't give a damn about foreign politics, and I very specifically don't think Kyoya would've support Trump because of his obvious incompetence and dubious morals. Kyoya, as is kind of the point with him, is a person who will in fact sacrifice his financial ambitions in order to do the right thing.

If any of them were to support Trump, it'd be Tamaki. The guy buys any sob story laid before his feet and is incapable of knowing when he's being lied to, come on. And for this very reason, I also expect the Twins would never, ever support Donald Trump. He'd be a victim even easier than Tamaki, and lacking all the inherent goodness that made them respect Tamaki despite everything else.

I suspect his boorishness would put Tamaki off. Well-done steak with ketchup? Gold leaf everything? Tacky and vulgar. And he's so openly unchivalrous.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it'd come to that sooner rather than later, but were they to meet in person, Tamaki is the one Host Club member I can imagine would be swayed simply by someone being initially friendly and declaring their good will towards the common man.

But his treatment of women would put Tamaki off *so fast*. And he might be clueless about commoners, but starving them out would also put Tamaki off very fast.

The SECOND one of the costumers (Or worse, Haruhi) said that Trump said something that made them feel uncomfortable (let alone touched them), Tamaki would be putting ALL his money into making sure Trump disappeared from the face of the earth. Because Tamaki is nothing but a gentelman first and foremost.

Yeah, but before Tamaki could've witnessed the man in action, Trump could've claimed "those stories are all lies and fake news, no-one loves women more than me", and Tamaki would've believed him.

Are you kidding me? Kyouya values efficiency. Also subtlety. Some reputation for competency. You really think he'd respect Trump?

I can see where you might think that, OP, but I think I disagree, at least about Kyoya. He strikes me as one who would dislike Trump's general lack of class.

Put aside the fact that they're rich and privileged for a moment. Now ask yourself what they value. Here are some things to consider:

Do these characters value the well-being of women (at least Haruhi)? How about honesty? Fairness? Intelligence? Efficiency? Respect? Empathy? Common sense? Cooperation? Any sense of dignity whatsoever?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then you most likely do not have a Trump supporter on your hands. Trump is maddeningly terrible. He's not a normal president.

Frankly, most of the 24.9% of Americans that voted for that maniacal, shriveled up creamsicle piece of shit are stubborn, gullible, and/or brainwashed at best. AT BEST. You can thank anti-humane propaganda such as Fucks News, InfoBores, and Breitshart for that, and sadly, our main defense against the GOP, the Democrats, aren't great either. Also, Neo Nazis fucking support Trump. If you think the cast of Ouran is cut from the same cloth as Neo Nazis then by all means, never watch it again. I wouldn't.

But I don't think it should come to that, because also, the show is what you make of it. Tell yourself the cast of Ouran would detest Trump until you can believe it. I hope the comments here help. Take back your show. Every little thing in this world that can bring you joy matters.

I mean... they are not American. Even if they were I'm sure Haruhi would give an extremely good lesson to explain exactly why Trump is trash.

If nothing else, the majority of the characters would dislike Trump for being blatantly unrelentingly rude, with all that that implies.

Others have Tamaki and Kyouya covered very well! Honestly, I can't see any of the Ouran crew supporting Trump. Hikaru and Kaoru? Personally, I can see them being the ones who purposely feed Trump things to make him spout off on Twitter, then laugh about it. Besides, Trump is very prone to lumping people who may not even look alike into a group and the twins HATE people who can't tell which of them is which.

Honey and Mori? Both admire hard work ethics and integrity. Things Trump severely lacks.

Besides, imagine how Trump would react to Haruhi's Dad. He'd immediately earn black marks from the entire Host Club, I believe. Nobody messes with Haruhi or her stunning Papa!

I get this secret is just trying to be funny, but these characters are Japanese. Trump has repeatedly thrown Japan under the bus. They aren't going to support him for that alone.

Second, you have to be a corrupt asshole with money to gain or an idiot to support Trump. These characters aren't conservative Christians. They aren't racist misogynists. They surely don't support guns. Trump is a stuttering moron who can't even properly make a speech, lacking eloquence, and any traits of a gentleman. Why in the world would they support him?
