That really sucks and I'm so sorry you had to go through that! What a grade-A dickhead. The whole "you MADE ME emotionally unstable and a total creep" thing is the worst and flimsiest defense ever. I hope he's miserable wherever he is. There's been some fantastic advice on staying safe physically in this thread which I think everyone should take to heart. Be safe, babe. It's such a horrible feeling looking over your shoulder for twats like that. <3

Well its important to take care of yourself.

They used that more towards someone who defended a ship they didn't like but it set an uncomfortable precedent for how the deal with critique. I feel like tumblr and its environment is like the last thing they need and actually detrimental and enabling. They would frequently use assumption of bigotry (racism, transphobia homophobia ableism) against people, like the people who told them they could get a cheaper phone instead of an $800 (that they were trying to ask OTHER people money for.)

I found myself afraid to be honest in how I felt or even disagree because they frequently told other people to die over things like fangirling over a character they didn't like. (that's another reason I felt super uncomfortable around them , I don't like bullying. I was bullied seeing people do it to others just bugs me.

All in all with me they seemed to take advantage of the fact that I was vulnerable after dealing with lots of emotional fuckery and gaslighting while living with my parents and I was nervous about being firm and saying "no" to people.

I guess its good I learned but I wish it hadn't been in such a way.
