He's not the only reason for me, but Ragnarok caused the shift from casually watching whatever random MCU movies look like they might be worth my time to actually caring about any of the characters and what happens to them in the future. It's not just Loki, but also Thor and Bruce and Valkyrie. I could go without ever seeing an Avengers movie again if I could just get more of those four having wacky adventures.

I'm the same, only I'd never seen any MCU films before Ragnarok. Catching up on them now, none of the ones I've seen this far has made me care half as much about the Avengers as Ragnarok did with Thor's company.
