Chicago Med, I really like you. But it seems like you have made Will and Natalie the main characters. And they are both irritating, on and off, and would make a terrible couple. I know you are going to put them together eventually, and ugh. Also, stop throwing all the crap at April. Does everything bad have to happen to her?

Also, Chicago Med, when you do crossover episodes, please make the other show you are adding a little more clear for those of us who only watch Med.

Yeah, there's way too much focus on Will and Natalie. And April actually gets really unlikable. Then some new characters come on who are also really irritating, and they put together pairings who are horrible together/make no sense/have no chemistry, and just...I probably need to stop watching the show since apparently all I can do is complain about it.

And I agree that they need to explain things a bit more since they just assume everyone watching is familiar with the other shows, too. I've watched them all at one point or another, but honestly they're not very good (I still watch Chicago PD but am really close to giving it up). I mean, I have a general idea of who some characters from Chicago Fire are because I watched the first two seasons but they're up to I think S5 now and sometimes when they pop up on Chicago Med I have no idea who they are and they just act like everyone should know.

I'm getting so frustrated with the way the writers are handling my OTP. They keep having all these scenes that come across as incredibly romantic and I can't help but feel like it's intentional. I mean, there's no way that they don't know how these scenes will be interpreted. Yet because a certain percentage of the audience would get pissed off if it happened, it's never going to, and instead they keep hinting at a pairing that makes zero sense and that no one seems to like. On a certain level, it seems they listen to fans, because they retconned a huge plot development that was pretty much universally hated, but doing so also makes things easier on them because they don't have to figure out a way to write around it, so maybe they don't care what the fans think.

Not that they necessarily need to care what the fans think if they have a particular idea of how they want the story to go and what they want the characters to do, but...IDK.

Sorry, a slash ship is just not going to happen.

I feel your pain, anon. The whole "Most interesting and intense canonical relationship by far will NEVER be romantic because the writers are only interested in het" rigmarole is so frustrating.

Like, yeah, I wear slash goggles sometimes. But holy shit it's like every creator ever (with a few rare exceptions) has het goggles surgically fused to their eye sockets.

There's been hinting that the next wave of DLC episodes for FFXV will include an Episode Luna, and a few months ago I would have been so excited about that, but... then there was the free update with a few new Luna scenes, and those were all so bad that I'm honestly concerned instead. All they had her do was fucking cry. She has potential, but I'm really worried now that the whole thing is just going to be about how much she ~loves Noctis~ and wants to ~get married~.

You know, same girl that escaped Empire clutches to get up in Regis' face all "fuck no I'm not marrying your son, what the fuck."

Like, I know I should know better than to try to gel Kingsglaive!Luna with Game!Luna, but jfc they might as well be completely different characters. I wanted to love her. Her motivations were really interesting up until Chapter 12 torpedoed her for no good reason. Gaaaah. I hope I'm wrong.

I kind of want to catch up on teen wolf and a few other shows that I took a break from a couple of seasons back because I still like some characters, but the new ones they pointlessly add in every season are annoying to me.

Teen Wolf is definitely not worth it. S4-6 are pretty awful.

Minecraft water temples are big and boring. I thought "that will be a fun challenge". No. It was not fun. It was not a challenge. It was just grindy and awful.

I got bored halfway through and then just switched to creative mode and started sponging up all the water to see what was in the rest of the temple. Then I got even more bored and spent two hours creating a giant wall around the entire temple, and draining that section of the ocean entirely.

(But then I felt bad because all the temple guardians were dying. They make this awful sad squeaky noise if they don't have water. So I reflooded part of it so they'd have a place to live.)

(I don't even understand what most of your post means, but the world is so fucked up that even the idea of not letting imaginary creatures/people/whatever they are die makes me feel warm and fuzzy.)

It's so dumb because I drained out the temple largely because I was so mad at the damn things. They're SO LOUD and annoying and ugh I hate them. So I was like, fine, I'll just make it so the damn things are gone for good! Then I'll never have to listen to them again!

Then they started squeaking and flopping around on the dry ground like humongous spiky cyclops fish and I felt so guilty, nonny. SO GUILTY.

How do you mean? The one thing I'm worried about is how poorly they might handle things if the theory where he's secretly that Klingon guy with his memory wiped/in disguise/whatever is true.

Since Assassin's Creed Origins is apparently good, I really should try to force myself to at least finish Black Flag before I buy it. And ... maybe play Syndicate? idk, I'm on the fence, though I know for a fact I'm not touching Unity.

Oh, right, since this is about complaining, I meant to add: I really can't figure out why Black Flag is so goddamn boring. I started this game when it came out, got halfway though, and I can't stop picking up any other game over it. I like pirates! I even watched Black Sails and it didn't get me in the mood to play it. If that can't do it, maybe it's honestly impossible.

I still fully intend to finish it, though. Eventually. For Origins.

I’m so pissed about the writing for Sonny on the most recent episode of SVU. I can’t believe he’d actually react like that. It feels like such a try-hard moment for Rollisi.

I've been pissed about the entirety of SVU writing for at least three seasons by now. Why can't I stop watching it??
