I care mostly about Steve and Thor when it comes to the main Avengers. I don't care about Tony except hoping he dies so he stops showing up in other people's movies. Natasha, Bruce, and Clint I don't feel strongly for either way.

Hey, I'm 100% with you on Iron Man! I remember being kind of excited about the new Spiderman movie until I saw that Iron Man was in 70% of the trailer, which immediately meant I wasn't interested.

Does he really have to be everywhere???

Since the only MCU film I ever genuinely liked was The Winter Soldier, it probably goes without saying that this is me, too. Except with Sam instead of Thor, obviously.

I care about a couple of characters, but most of them I figure are safe so I don't really worry too much about them making it through IW.

Steve though? Yeah, I'm not comfortable saying that I think he'll make it out of the movie alive.

(Agreed that Bucky needs some kind of happy ending considering all the shit he's been through, but that remains to be seen).

Same, mostly. I still care about Clint a little bit but I think it's fandom Clint who has more of his comics personality. I don't think I'll watch the next movie. If there's anything positive for Steve I'll watch a clip of it but honestly I'm incredibly over the franchise. It's not even fun anymore.

I loved Winter Soldier - it's probably either my favorite MCU movie or second-favorite behind Ragnarok, although the shine of the latter could wear off - and my knee-jerk reaction is to say I care most about Steve, too. But... I'm actually completely meh about Bucky, and I never saw Civil War, so basically I don't care about Steve's motivations and interests at this point.

... it's Thor.

Thor is the only Avenger whose story I have any interest in. From the clips we've seen with dead Asgardians, and my certainty that Loki will be killed by Thanos, the idea that he might be one of the last Asgardians alive - after everything he lost in Ragnarok - makes me want him to find some sort of happiness at the end of the Infinity War.

Even if it's in death, where he's reunited with Odin, Frigga, Loki, and his friends in the afterlife.

I'm perfectly fine just watching any and all Asgardian scenes and only those.

Contrary to what my icons and UN might lead you to believe..... Thor is actually my favorite MCU character, followed by Loki and then Bucky.

I really like pretty much everyone (I mean, I'm not super invested in Bruce or Valkyrie or Clint I guess). I'm hoping they don't go super grimdark and have half the characters die, but I'm not going to be heartbroken if they do.

I'm mostly hoping they just are nice to fucking Thor and don't kill him off to give Tony and Steve more manpain or something shitty like that.

I am team Steve/Bucky all the way. like, hard-core. :) But I enjoy all the others so very much. Clint and Natasha, Thor and Loki, Bruce and Tony, Sam, Fury ... *squish* *hug*

They all make me so very happy. Alone or together.

I will say though, that Bucky is teh!man. (and Sebastian Stan is fucking drop dead gorgeous)

I still care about most of them, but Steve is the one I'm probably the most worried about. I hope rather than dying, Steve gets sent back to his time via magic or alien tech. Preferably with the serum having been purged from his system so when he gets back to his time, he looks like skinny!Steve again and that's why no one (except Peggy) recognizes him. Then Sam or Bucky can take over as Cap.
