Okay.

There are a ton of fandoms with plenty of cocks to stick in female orifices or rub against other cocks, go knock yourself out.

ikr

poor OP, who now only has 95% of genre television to watch

(Anonymous) 2017-12-13 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think they're complaining about lacking television to watch. The secret is that they have a controversial reason for dropping Doctor Who, not that they resent having to drop it.

So what kind of response to this secret is valid? If the secret is just "I'm not watching this anymore, and I'm fine with that"?

(Anonymous) 2017-12-13 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
Interesting reply to someone telling you that they think you misinterpreted the secret.

They're not complaining or asking for sympathy, though.

i don't watch this show but i'm sure there will be a male love interest/companion for the doctor

Depending on their shipping preferences, this could make matters worse. I don't particularly care what gender the main character is, but obligatory M/F romance can quickly kill my interest in the canon.

Yeah, exactly. The implication here is that the OP wants a M/F pairing to ship on this show. I don't see why the Doctor has to be the male half, as long as the companion meets the criterion of being sexually attractive to the OP.

Unless, of course, the real reason is self-insert shipping themselves with the Doctor.

And all of that is fine, IMO. Fandom should be whatever a person needs it to be, and the OP seems to recognize and appreciate that other people are getting something out of this, rather than calling for a boycott or something.

Presumably, this is OP's plan, which they mentioned in the secret.

I think if all OP wanted was cock you would have a point, but where cock is interchangeable, characters are not. OP is bummed out that the character they like is no longer suitable for them. I am not. I am very happy that a character I like is now also sexually appealing to me, but yeah, I can get OP's disappointment.
