This is a good secret.

See, the thing is, you have it backwards. You think a show should support your fandom interest, when it's supposed to be that fandom supports your show interest. You've put the cart before the horse.

If what you really care about is fandom, then watch a different show. There are zillions of shows, most of them with male leads.

I don't see where OP said they believe the show should cast the role according to OP's tastes. They simply acknowledged that the new casting isn't for them, so they're going to take a break from it. Your slightly condescending advice is redundant.
