(Anonymous) 2017-12-17 09:09 pm (UTC)(link)I've kind of been there, I was sticking to making 'safe' content, and after a while it started getting really burnt out and angry about it to the point I couldn't even enjoy it anymore. So I made a bunch of 'problematic shit' and when I didn't respond to the comments calling me a sick fuck they stopped coming and people still liked my non-problematic content too.

OP
(Anonymous) 2017-12-18 06:45 am (UTC)(link)The thing is I'm on twitter and I made it into this little tight circle of mutuals with similar tastes and one main ship, and I dearly love everyone and enjoy it a lot, but I'm starting to 'suffocate' in it when it comes to creative content, because every time I come up with silly or funny or interesting idea for a random ship art I remember that oh mutual A hates this ship, mutuals B and C block everyone who posts this ship, and it's... yeah.
You gave me an excellent idea though, I could easily make a socket account on tumblr and post everything there. Few of my twitter mutuals have tumblr, but they probably blocked the tags they hate long ago. I hope.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-18 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)And rational people are entirely capable of going "I don't like this thing, you do like this thing. Lets just agree that I don't spew negativity at you and you don't spew positivity at me." When it comes to fictional fandom junk.
