I enjoyed it immensely, even the R*ylo teasing, except for a few things;

* Why are Kylo Ren's pants so high.

* People change and grow, but movie Amilyn =/= book Amilyn, and I was disappointed.

* Rose and Finn were great, and I LOVED that chase scene, and the idea is that everyone FAILS in this movie, but their plotline is the only one where no one learned anything or grew.

Yeah on your last point. I actually kinda enjoyed the casino scenes, because I like seeing a variety of settings and it's rare occasion we get to see any place in Star Wars that is non-military and also not a jungle. What is the galaxy like for other people? And Rose and Finn were fun to watch. But their "failure" wasn't really useful, because neither grew as characters. Neither really had anything to grow toward, to be honest. And sure, they failed, but not really from any of their own flaws. Yeah, they took a risk hiring the random convict dude, but they didn't really have options at that point. Plus, the guy basically hired himself when he and BB8 saved them during the chase. They did their best and made logical choices and took informed risks.

The movie definitely played up Poe's flaws (contrasted with Leia who was maybe on the flip side was too hesitant to take risks), and Rey's darkness, and Luke's, and obviously Kylo's many issues. But Finn had nothing to work with, and it's even harder for Rose, who was a new character.
