I just watched this movie yesterday!

You do you OP. This is the only role I’ve enjoyed Christian Bale in.

On an unpopular note, I vastly prefer Laurie/Amy to Laurie/Jo.

You are not alone. I prefer him with Amy too.

Yes to Laurie/Amy!

saaame. Jo was 100% correct that they would have been a terrible match.

I never liked Laurie/Jo and always thought Jo was right, they make better friends than romantic partners. But I didn't like Laurie/Amy either because it felt like the author wanted to pair Laurie up with SOMEBODY and Amy was the only one left? In the books she calls him "my lord" which is creepy as hell, IMO.

Doesn't he call her "my lady"? It's been a very long time since I read the book, but I remember the "my lady" "my lord" being a kind of playful teasing thing between them. The lord and lady of their "castle", so to speak.

DA- yeah, this.

I don't like Laurie/Amy much either, but I do think they are both getting what they want out of that relationship. She gets money and travel, he gets to be in the March family.

Ugh, me too. Laurie and Jo would have driven each other crazy.
