And as for Ianto and archaeology. Well, they are just plain made out of awesomeness and love <3

*grins* They really are! And seriously, studying archaeology is probably one of the best things I've ever done. Especially since I get to focus on Egyptology. :D

Where did you study archaeology? I just graduated from UCSC with a degree in Anthropology and a concentration in Archaeology. I've always been fascinated with Egypt though. I've wanted to become an Egyptologist ever since I was a kid.

I'm currently working toward my degree at U of T up here in Ontario and what I'm working on is a double major in Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations and English. Random combo, but I love it. :D Egypt was something I just adored starting at a very young age and I decided when I was about nine that I wanted to be an Egyptologist, lol. Irony is that my initial interest starting when I was all of four was paleontology. So not much of a change for me! :P

I'm going to be visiting Canada in about 2 weeks. It'll be Vancouver and Victoria mostly because we live in California and we're only going for a week. But still. I've always wanted to go. Doesn't hurt that most of my childhood crushes were Canadian (*cough* Ryan Gosling *cough*).
I may have also wanted to be a paleontologist before I wanted to be an archaeologist. In fact, before that, I was really into gem stones and rocks in general. Other kids could play doctor and teacher. I was busy digging in the dirt ^_^

Canada is lovely, and I envy you so much for getting out to BC. I've wanted to go there for years, but I'm stuck out here at the other end of the country. Amusingly enough, I've been to Europe, and yet I've been to one other province in my entire life. (Manitoba, and if you don't visit it, you're not missing anything). Oh Ryan Gosling, I remember him back on Breaker High. I will admit that I had a slight crush on Paul Gross when I was younger, among others. *grins*
I just fell in love with dinosaurs the first day they were introduced to us in SK. I was in French immersion and it was lovely, although it's rather amusing when I mess up languages now. I was talking with my girlfriend on the phone tonight and I just had to stop because I was about to start rambling in French but I managed to catch myself before I did. But playing in the dirt is so much more fun than sitting around at a tiny little desk when you're that age, and then there are those of us where that continues to be true! *raises hand sheepishly* I lieks teh sand.

'The Shroud' made me so happy. Just the fact that the whole team had been in trouble before without Jack needing to come back, but Daniel goes missing/turned into a Prior, and Jack is all over it. And threatening people if they tried to hurt him. And of course the hair ruffling and 'Sleepyhead' XD
Thank you about the icon! I like to think that one on the bottom is Daniel (possibly working hard in his office) and the one on top is Jack (who likes to come in, play with stuff, and generally distract Daniel).
Breaker High is where I first really 'fell' for Ryan. That and Are You Afraid of the Dark and Goosebumps. I remember being so happy when he was the main character in Young Hercules. Good times... *happy sigh*

That scene was just adorable, and the entire episode, I swear it's probably my favourite episode since RDA left as a regular. When it comes to Daniel Jack's just willing to jump right back into the fray and do what ever he needs to do to make sure he's okay even if it involves putting his own life in jeopardy. God I love those two!
That would make perfect sense. Danny's working away and then hey, it's Jack and he's.....on top of my head....again. And of course, Daniel just smiles and nods and attempts to play nice, and Jack just continues on merrily being all distracting and such. After all, it's his job to make sure Daniel doesn't get bored or anything. *grins*
Hee! I used to watch AYAotD all the time as a kid and Breaker High was part of my nightly YTV routine. I always liked the Goosebumps books better than the series though, and damn. I haven't thought about Young Hercules in years! I think, though, out of all of the shows on when I was younger, Road to Avonlea was my favourite.

Doctor:
"Tell me you're not archaeologists."
Lady whose name I still can't bother to remember:
"Got a problem with archaeologists?"
Doctor:
"I'm a Time Traveler - I point and laugh at archaeologists."
That quote still cracks me up XD

I cannot wait until the finale this week, though. Series four has just been amazing and I can't wait till next year. It's going to be wonderful.

I can't wait for the finale, but I'm also scared. There's been a lot of foreshadowing and I don't want anybody to die/leave. Especially Ianto <3 (Although I don't really see that happening.)

It just looks so amazing, and I don't want to lose anyone, but I get the feeling that something is going to happen to someone, although I'm not entirely sure WHO yet. *nods* And I can't wait for more Ianto! And I want to see Jack and Ianto and the Doctor all interacting together.
