(Anonymous) 2017-12-21 02:03 am (UTC)(link)When he brought this up, our class was learning about how art was used to protest and/or advocate certain political and social aspects like early 1900s USA or Nazi Germany...which we had just recently finished.
He was condescending, obtuse, rude, and disrespectful to our professor (who had once been a refugee) and to our class in general.
I swear to god I could feel the resentment and anger of other students who weren’t as privileged as him seeping in the air when everybody turned to look at him the moment he started complaining. I had to bite my tongue to keep from making a bitter as fuck comment while he whined to our Professor.
