Except in this particular case, I feel that is something I would want to know? I watch shows that are problematic and that's fine. But I wouldn't want to support a creator like this if what those people are saying is true.

For me, there is a difference in lecturing about problematic aspects in works vs problematic things about the creator. People can see what is in a work and decide if it is something they want to support. But it is something else to give information about problematic things behind the scenes, as not everyone is privy to that information and it might make a difference to them.
