Oh god, OP, I'm sorry you're going through such a hard time. It sucks when family starts taking sides and acts dickish towards each other. *hugs*

I really loved Coco and it made me cry some really ugly tears. It made me miss my grandmother all over again.

Same. I don't usually cry over sad scenes, but there were tears by the last stretch of the film and a large part of that is also because I lost my grandmother two years ago. I think this one was kind of a delayed reaction for me, so I did feel a sense of peace with that.

Either way, my condolences. You and OP.

My condolences to you too, nonny. *hugs*

This is what I'm worried about. My grandma and I were really close and it still hurts that I lost her so I'm worried I'll be crying.

Thank you.

Coco was powerful in a way I didn't imagine. The third act made me remember my grandparents and how they would have acted towards me and my family if they were here. I was openly sobbing when the credits rolled.
