I haven't watched the new films, but you're wrong.

They are part of a billion dollar franchise that employs thousands of people and weren't always part of Disney, but speaking of Disney, that's a multibillion dollar multinational conglomerate. The films are also a part of a 40-year cultural touchstone. Dismissing them as just Disney films is missing a lot. And, really, like any piece of the creative arts, Disney films included, they are worthy of discussion, both positive and negative.

Now, if you mean there probably shouldn't be screaming histrionics over them, yeah, okay.
