What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am celebrating my birthday early tomorrow so my sister doesn't have to drive up on New Years day. We are just doing a cake so nothing exciting. I will be using all of my spare time (and three day weekend) to grind for boxes in Overwatch. I want that Bastion skin!

I never do anything exciting for New Years and I don't have any concrete plans for the weekend. Cleaning and writing probably.

Even though it is my birthday, I never do anything as well! But I am a curmudgeon. :P Have fun writing and hopefully your cleaning gets done quickly.

I too am celebrating my birthday early tomorrow because I don't want to do things on Sunday.

I'm going to see what my neighbour is up to. We'll probably go for coffee or McDonalds or something. I owe her one for feeding my fish while I was out of town. I need to get my photos printed from Christmas so I can make an album for my Gramma as well.

And making physical photo albums are so nice to make. :D

I'm going birding on the 1st to get my 200-Utah-species-photographed-in-a-year project rolling. Alas, I won't have my super shiny 83x-zoom camera by then (it's arriving on the 2nd), but my current 42x-zoom camera is pretty spiffy.

I just have to decide where I want to go.

...or if I want to wait a day for the new camera. :p

I'd suggest waiting for the new camera! Because as soon as you get it you are going to want to try it out. So if you can only go once for a while, wait to try out your new toy. :D

Staying in and avoiding crazy drunk people on the roads. And watching Anderson Cooper on NYE. I never watched in the past when he hosted with Kathy Griffin because she annoys me, but I think him and Andy Cohen are super entertaining together so I'm looking forward to that. ~~Also, I kiiiiiinda ship them, so there's that.~~

Otherwise, I need to clean as usual, and other than that I'm going to attempt to catch up on some TV before everything comes back next week, and I want to do some reading. Amazon for some reason gave me a $5 Kindle credit that expires at the end of the year, so I need to decide which book I want, then I'm gonna start that one after I finish the current one I'm reading.

Have fun! I rarely watch the ball drop because it happens at 11 in Oklahoma. So it isn't nearly as exciting.

I should try cleaning tomorrow since people are coming over but meh.

Just a nice quiet New Years'. With hopefully no neighborhood jerks setting off fireworks that scare the cats.

New Year's is awkward because I never go out or do anything for New Year's Eve, so it's a day where some places close early and New Year's Day is a day off where some places are closed all day.

I will probably sleep, go to the gym, and do some cleaning. I like to make myself go through all my various documents and make sure everything is organized and shred the stuff I don't need before I let myself do my taxes, so maybe I'll get that part out of the way early.

I never do anything either even though it is my birthday. I'll just be relaxing and doing nothing much. Better that than being super busy.
