AYRT - Yeah. They act like they want you to throw your arms around them and start crying. Yet if you did do that, they'd probably get scared expressions on their faces. So, really, what do you do?

I did try to say "kind of numb and trying to distract myself" to some people, who nodded slowly and went on about how when their fathers/mothers/grandmothers died they cried in bed for days. Way to make me feel even worse about myself...
