Re: How do you feel about fanart changing canon physical characteristics of a character?

Unless it’s specifically “what if he was born with a normal face” fanart, handsome Phantom of the Opera art makes me cringe.

Also art and fic of characters who are played by one specific actor but get details like height and eyecolor and even body shape wrong. And I’m not talking about one guy being 6 ft 5 and another being 6 ft 4, I’m talking about one guy being 6 ft 3 and another being 5 ft 6.

If you’re talking about the latter dude, he’s only gonna be tall compaired to little kids and maybe a couple of the women characters, so unless he’s Gulliver, stop talking about his commanding height. If somebody’s got brown eyes, talking about piercing blue eyes makes me think you’ve done a find/replace on someone else’s work.
