Sorry, I don't agree. Candice's personality does nothing for me, but I think her technical skills were better than Nadiya's.

Agreed. What Nadiya did well was being creative and inventive, but I didn't ever feel that her technical skills were on the same level as some of the other contestants.

Nadiya had great skills (though she had a lot of nerves at the start) and was winning technicals by the end. Candice's skills were good, but she stayed in her safety zone as much as she could and got lucky with other bakers having a worse week when she had a wobbly week.

This, Candace was incredibly average all the way through and won due to the luck of her more ambitious competitors (the bulk of whom were exceptional when they were on point) fucking up.
