Yeah, it's so odd that they've spent so much time upfront focused on the parents.

I've read that in the comics the parents are basically just shadowy figures at the beginning, and it's not until much later that any of the parent stories get delved. (I picked up the first 5 vols of the comics on sale but haven't read them yet.)

I realize it might have been a nightmare to plot, but I actually liked how the first two eps covered some of the same events from different POVs, and I wish they'd continued that.
