I went in completely spoiled, which I think saved some parts of the movie. I always look at spoilers because I enjoy a movie more that way. However, in this case, I was disappointed. It didn't hit me right away but as I've thought about it more and more, it just felt so underwhelming. I'm still willing to see the next one to see if it can fix some of the issues I have but I'm also resigned that the sequel trilogy is pretty much a bust, which is sad because I really love Star Wars.

However, I am loving a lot of the EU content that's come out so I'm not writing off the whole fandom.
